Mattresses and Tyres
Household Domestic Waste
Mattresses are $40 extra each on top of the skip bin hire, as the transfer station charges this fee. Tyres are $40 each extra on top of the skip bin hire. Please let the office know if you have any of these items.
Renovation Projects
Bathroom Renovations, kitchen Renovations, Timber Flooring, Timber Fencing, gyprock plaster. Please let the office know if you have horsehair plaster, cement sheeting, Yellow tongue, blue tongue Timber and lots of tiles, providing the necessary skip capacity for your Renovation Project and also skip bin will be heavier due to 1 tonne allowance on skip bins.
Garden Cleanup
Efficient removal of garden waste, lawn clippings, and weeds, shrubs, Ivy, tree branches. Please note if you have any Heavy Tree Stumps or Yucca Trees please call the office to let them know due to being very heavy Garden Greens. Call for a Skip Bin Hire leaving your outdoor space perfectly tidy.
Weight Allowance:
Each skip bin hire includes a 1 tonne weight allowance. Any weight over 1 tonne is charged at $300 per tonne.

Important Information Regarding your Skip Bin Hire Bookings
1. What can go in the skip bin
- Household waste & furniture, old Toys, clothes, Televisions, old computers, basically junk that we accumulate.
- Green waste (grass clippings, branches, weeds, shrubs)
- Light renovation waste
2. What cannot go in the skip bin
- No Asbestos whatsoever
- Chemicals, paints, or liquids
- Tyres and gas bottles
3. Access and Placement
- Clear driveway access
- No low trees or powerlines
- Flat space for the truck to operate
- Skip Bins must go inside the driveway or boundary, Darebin Skip Bins do not issue council permits.
- Confirm your exact delivery address
- Know your waste type
- Choose your bin size from listed above
- We cannot give a time on the day of delivery due to the Logistics of the business, we deliver from 8 am till 9 pm due to being a family business, so we always suggest you receive your skip bin a day before you want to use the skip bin. The office will call you 30 minutes before the driver arrives to deliver your skip bin.
- Payment can be made cash on delivery with a Receipt at a discount price or Bank Transfer which will be normal price. Either way you will receive a Receipt.
- If paying cash on delivery you can place the money in the Meter Box or under the front door mat or mailbox, we have never had problem with this system, so you can go about your regular day instead of waiting for us. The office will still call you and you can let them know.
4. Booking Tips
Hire Duration
Skip Bins are hired for 5–10 days (minimum 5 days), which does not include the day of delivery and Sunday. Please let us know if you need extra time when you call.
